The Christians believe that God made all things around us. These material and non-material elements came from the prime reality and therefore will one day return to the where it came from. The nature of this external reality is good because it is of God. Human beings are creations of God. He created human beings according to his image, that which is all good and without evil. Christians believe that as human beings are created under the likeness of God, so do human beings have the ability to create, posses personality and use his intelligence to take care of the planet. Human beings are born with original sin which is forgiven by God in the act of baptism or as human beings restore their faith in God through the love of Jesus Christ.
In death, a person’s soul is either carried towards the love of his maker who is God or banished away from love, depending on how he lived his life as human being. Death is either the beginning of being with God in heaven or entering Hell that is a place without love.
Christians believe in faith and this faith is the one that makes it possible to know anything at all. One must have the faith before one can arrive at wisdom. The mind is not the sole way to acquire knowledge. There is also the heart and the soul where the mind is able to integrate so that wisdom may be the one to summarize a person’s knowing of anything and everything.
Human beings are given free will to do what they think and feel right. However, balancing this free will is the gift of conscience. It is conscience that leads a man to act on a particular decision. Each decision has consequence and will lead to judging the act as either right or wrong.
